Four Wheelin in Phoenix

Today I went to the trails up by Pleasant Lake outside of Phoenix. The trails were very good. They started out plain and bumpy and then got challenging for a full size vehicle.

This one I nicknamed the coffee-grinder. It was a very tight squeeze for the wrangler!

Hiked up Squaw Peak in Phoenix yesterday. The weather was great and the cacti were starting to flower. One day I hope to be able to run up the trail. Right now I am happy that I can walk up!

On the second day of the trip. I stopped at the Federal Building Memorial in Oklahoma City. It was a very sobering experience.

Just drove from NC to Arizona. It was a great trip. Although two and a half days in a Jeep Wrangler can wear you out a bit. The best part was driving through the South West. Stopped at the Petrified Forest on the way out. It was worth it!
